Wormwood Absinthium is a bitter and aromatic herb in the Asteraceae family, historically used in making liquors, especially, as the name suggests, Absinthe as well as vermouth. She was first used in beer making and has since been replaced with Hops.

Today we know that she is helpful for intestinal parasites and overall system restoration. She has been utilized for the inhibition of protozoan growth, and is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotective, antidepressant, pain-relieving, and more. Wormwood may also inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells.

**Do Not take if you are pregnant or nursing

**Persons with allergies to the Daisy (Asteraceae) family should take caution with Wormwood. Allergic reactions are common.

**Do not exceed the recommended dosage or take for long periods. Not to exceed 1.5 g of dried herbal tea 2-3 times a day.
